Silk is a natural fiber produced primarily from the spinnerets of silkworm larvae, particularly the Mulberry silkworm (Bombyx mori). This luxurious and highly prized fabric is known for its many unique properties. The fibers of silk are very fine and even, which gives the fabric its famous softness and luster. Despite its delicate nature, silk is a very strong fiber. It is one of the strongest natural fibers. Silk is a breathable material that keeps the skin cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather. It is recommended to wash silk by hand in cold water with a mild detergent. Drying should be done in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight. Care should be taken when ironing silk. Use a low temperature and iron on the wrong side of the fabric.
